I am a 45-year-old woman who had the opportunity to meet Denis Gauthier 20 years ago. He introduced me to bodybuilding, and I discovered a discipline that allowed me to sculpt my body while having lots of fun. I trained with Liette Bujold, who at the time was the reigning MISS MONTRÉAL. Subsequently, under the supervision of Serge Moreau, I entered the MISS LANAUDIERE 88 competition, taking first place for top choreography.

With discipline and determination, I continued to train during my pregnancy with none other than Sophie Duquette, MISS CANADA and fifth place finisher at MISS OLYMPIA. As a 38-year-old mother of two, I won the title of MISS QUÉBEC at the 2000 championships, much to the delight of my children. Over the next few years, which coincided with a real boom in female bodybuilding, I participated at MISS BODY FITNESS 2004 in the Figure category, taking first place in MONTRÉAL and second place in QUÉBEC CITY.

My two children are also very athletic. My daughter KATHLEEN, who is 10, won a gold medal in gymnastics at the Québec Games. My son MICHEL, who is 13, loves snowboarding and football. I believe it is extremely important to stay in shape throughout the year.
